In 2012, WAGE was founded by a group of seven dedicated women social activists with a shared vision to serve the underprivileged and uplift those in need. From its inception, WAGE has focused on supporting single-headed women, victims of abuse, and providing rural education and rehabilitation services. The organization is committed to fostering the comprehensive social and economic development of women, particularly those in vulnerable situations.
WAGE is a non-profit, voluntary organization dedicated to creating sustainable opportunities for the marginalized and neglected communities. Our mission is to provide hope, dignity, and earning opportunities for those most in need. Through our integrated and sustainable approach, we work deeply within underserved communities, raising awareness on critical social issues. Our efforts include educating communities on the prevention and eradication of human trafficking, particularly the trafficking of women and girls.
